The trip - Montreal 3

I seen and I visited a lot of things during my trip, but I didn't took a lot of tourist photographs, Montreal was my first step, I wasn't in the photographic mood yet. I seen a lot of Rosetta’s stones in Montreal, here is some of them (seen in the Montreal’s botanic garden), they were like a transition before arrive in USA. What else about Montreal ? Lot of things, but I don't remember everything. I could mention the fact that I visited Montreal in Bixi, that the squirrels are in Montreal what the pigeons are for the Europeans, that I ate in improbables places, that I drank the worst café of my life, that I've seen the homeless with their own laptops, that I saw women and men go to the sex shops as if they were going to the supermarket, that I was quite impressed by the Basilique notre dame de montreal, that I bought a good umbrella, that I loved the studious atmosphere in Montreal's cafés, that I loved the vegan restaurant AUX VIVRES, and finally, that I met two old friends wich I didn't see from very longtime.

The trip - Montreal 2

In Montreal I bought an Ipod touch knowing there would be no internet coffees in the USA, but a lot of Starbuck coffee equipped with wifi connexion. Soon, I enjoyed, furthermore the internet access, the multifunctionality of this machine, especially the photograph function. Due to the way to make photographs with an Ipod touch (we just need to touch the screen), I did a lot of accidental photographs.

The trip - Montreal 1

I arrived in Montreal very very tired (I didn’t sleep at all in the airplane), so my first priority in Montreal was to sleep well and repair quickly the tiredness due the Jetlag. That’s why I didn’t want to sleep in a dormitory the first night. Unfortunatly I didn’t find a private room, so I had to sleep in a very unconfortable, noisy and dusty dormitory.
The next day, I finally found a relatively cheap private room. Here is a picture of a painting on the wall of my private Montreal’s room.
I must not to forget to mention the magnificent landscape of the Greenland from the airplane porthole. No picture about that, but you can imagine a very very large island and, in the distance, a sea of white. For sure, one of the most beautiful and impressive landscape I ever seen.
