A shell

I bought this shell at a fisherman in Alexandria, Egypt, 

at the bottom of what was the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, today a fort. 

I put it on my library, beside my books, with a starfish.

A timer

I use this timer mainly for three things : to avoid that a sieste prolong itself beyond 20 minutes. For meditate 15 minutes in the morning when I get up, 

and 15 minutes in the night before to bed. To be warned 

before the boiling of turkish coffee.
