My Google earth tour - Toward green line

I had many technicals problems today with Google earth. The software didn't work because of a trouble between compatibility of the new software and my obsolete computer. So finally I downloaded the penultimate version.

I have to go to the hairdresser. I'm happy because I have an appointement with my heardresser tomorrow morning, and it's precisely tomorrow that I think arrive at Bering Strait. Isn't a funny coincidence ?

Who never dream to fly ?

It's marvellous ! I'm a wild goose.

I don't know what is it, but it's beautiful.

One hundred and fifteenth minute. Slabs of ice ?

Hundred-seventeenth minute. I believe to see the sea.

One hundred eighteenth minute. Hoooooo ! The sea !

From here I start probably a long  and monotonous trip on the sea.

One hundred and thirty fourth minute. It is about 25 minutes that I fly over an uniform sea. I begins to yawn and fall asleep.

One hundred and forty third minute. Ho ! Finally the Green line !

It was a long trip today.

How did you draw that green line?

Now, there's one thing that is quite disturbing about this view of the Earth... There is absolutely no ice on the waters!

And by the way, you will see a LOT of blue if you do go in a straight line. Basically, the next real land you will see is Antarctica.

Oh! And yes, those are slabs of ice, and they were in a strait or a bay in Ellesmere Island.

Yes, Doreus, after the Bering Strait my trip will be a very long fly above pacific sea. However, I hope to see some islands as Hawaï. Fortunately I'm a contemplative person.

Green line ? Yes, you can change the color of the line.

Quand tu veux tracer une ligne, tu clique sur Ajouter>Trajet>Style, couleur>Couleur (et là, tu peux choisir la couleur et l'épaisseur que tu veux).

I see.... Thanks for the information. And have a good trip!

I never dreamed to fly.

Momo, I wonder, as Doréus, how do you draw this line. (green, yellow, pink, it doesn't matter)

I well know how I would have proceeded if I had been in your place , but I see well, with this green line, that we have no same way of directing us. Mine is doubtless more down-to-earth.

You never dreamed to fly ? Are you sure ?

Waht do you mean regarding of "more down-to-earth" ?

krn said...

I mean to say "skimming the ground "
or... on the floor of seals, because there is no cow in the north pole.

krn, would you say me the same thing in french ? I feel I missing a good occasion of laugh.

krn said...

Je voulais dire au ras du sol ou... sur le plancher des phoques, parce qu'il n'y a pas de vaches au pôle nord.

I like very much when you laught. It makes me happy.

Momo said...

Le plancher des phoques ? You made me laugh :-D

krn said...

To be healthy, it is necessary to laugh at least twenty minutes a day.

How much do you need to have the account for today ?

Momo said...

Ho, I'm far of the account.

Ok, as you are on the sea, I'll tell you a story of boat.

A magician worked on a cruise ship. Since the audience was different each week, he did the same tricks over and over again.

One problem: The captain's parrot saw the shows each week and began to understand how the magician did every trick.

Once the parrot understood, she started shouting in the middle of the show: "Look, it's not the same hat! Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table. Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?"

The magician was furious but couldn't do anything. It was, after all, the captain's parrot.

Then one day the ship sank. After swimming for a few hours, the magician found himself on a piece of wood floating in the middle of the sea with, as fate would have it, the parrot.

They stared malevolently at each other but did not utter a word. This went on for a day and then another, and then another.

Finally on the fourth day, the parrot could restrain itself no longer:
"OK," she said, "I give up. What did you do with the ship?"

First, I have to say that I'm happy because I understood almost all without translation machine.

Secondly, hum.....I think this parrot is very cleverly. It don't only repeat, but also think. When I was child, I wanted become magician.

krn said...

Oh which coincidence, me, I wanted to be a parrot!

krn said...

Without laughing, I find that you are very good for somebody who learnt alone.

(of course, I didn't want to be any animal... I wanted to be a fireman)

Momo said...

But, didn't you say that you never dream to fly ?

krn said...

Mouahahaha!
Momo, you make me laugh to die.
A fireman does not fly, or then it is not of its own will.
Do you see me in parrot ?
I must be carefull, my cats are looking at me...

Ok you are the magician, and I an the rabbit in the hat, not the parrot.

But please, don't take me by the ears...)

Momo said...

No, I'm the wild goose, krn !

krn said...

a wild goose, like Akka ?

Momo said...

Who's Akka ?

krn said...

Here, you can see Akka, the wild goose, with his little friend Nils Holgersson, and also on swedish money
They flew through Sweden together.

I learnt to read with this book.
"Le merveilleux voyage de Nils Holgerson et d'Akka à travers la Suède"
