It almost (I do insist: almost) looks inviting. Are the pictures blurred on purpose?
I hope you don't go too far away in the water when it's that cold. How long do you stay in the water?
Dear Doreus, the pictures aren't blurred on purpose. Recently I lost my photo camera, and now I use another camera which be a bit defective. But, when I saw the result I was enough satisfied.
Well, actually, the blur somehow enhances the impression of the cold, that's why I thought it might be purposeful.
Thus, the random did well the things.
By the way, the title is grammatically correct ?
How long ? Not too much. There are some persons wich stay five minutes when the water is at 5 degrees, but they are experimented.
I prefer do it in three short times.
"Winter Bathing -- Water at Five Degrees" would be better. Ou encore: "Winter Bathing -- Water Temperature: Five Degrees"
I see you are careful with your winter baths. That is good. I just don't want you to go into hypothermia.
And since you asked for grammatical advice, when referring to people, never use the words "which" or "that". Always use "who" (subject) or "whom" (object). A friend of mine who was teaching English said, as a mnemotechnic trick: "We are not witches or thats". You can also refer to Dr. Seuss (a Canadian reference) and the "who" in "whoville" in the story The Grinch Stole Christmas.
In the preceding comment, you should have said "there are people who say...".
I must say, however, that this is a mistake many Anglophones make as well, especially around here in Alberta. It drives me nuts.
Thanks very much, Doreus, to take your time for correct my English. I appreciate a lot. Don't hesitate correct me when you want. It's really very useful.
One question, Doreus : Why the capital letter for to write the word "Five" and "Degrees" ?
Capitals are because, in English, it is customary to Capitalise All Important Words in a Title. I think it comes from the German capitalisation of nouns.
If I understood well, I have should write the others titles in this way :
- A New Moon as Monochrome Psychedelic Mushrooms
- Friendly Microscopic Entities
- My summer - Chronicle of Happy Moments - The Flat Stone
- Green Mandala of Full Moon for a Rose Window in a Hypothetical Gothic Cathedral
- Very large and Deep Longitudinal Section of the New Moon
Vertical deconstruction of the Full Moon
Yes, except the two titles are still missing capitals at "Large" and "Deconstruction".
Ok !!!!!!!! It's clair !!!
I wanted say, "c'est clair !"
Oh, Momo, I return just at home and I see your new subject.
I am very amazed to see that it is about a true place of bathing. I imagined you in a wilder place.
In fact that reassures me. Is the bathing watched ?
Krn, in fact, in summer I will swim in a more wild place, but for the bath winter I prefer stay near to hot shower.
I don't understand this question : "Is the bathing watched ?"
I wanted to ask if somebody else is in this place when you bathe.
Of course. Most time there are other people, but not always.
But there is not a first-aid worker ?
KRN, I suppose you mean a life-guard?
A life guard ? I don't know this kind of person.
Do you mean that you entrust your life to him when you go to bathe ?
I am myself a life guard . much more a body guard ....of course I guard only a typical kind of body . I don't want to waste my time and my " substantifique moelle " at Moellesulaz . Jeu de mot nul de la France voisine .
Please, tell me when you are back.
I am at home.
Patton, I have a feeling you are once again distorting the meaning of the word.
KRN, "life-guard" is the person who sits at a beach or a pool in case some emergency requires his/her first-aid skills. They are generally quite attractive too. There might be a different expression in Europe of which I am not aware.
Maitre Nageur Sauveteur , that's the french word . Since I don't swimm , I don't care of ordinary people , only pneumatic girls ...
Lifeguard

Merry Christmas, Momo!
And how did you manage to find the picture for Patton? Too funny!
Merry Christmas, Doreus.
Ho, by random, I wrote the word "maître-nageur" in "Google pictures", it's all.

Thanks, krn, this is my favorit too.
How are you, Momo ?
Mas o menos, krn, estoy un poco triste y con ataques de panico.
La verdad, medio depre.
Y tu ?
I am sad for you, Momo.
Era feliz de encontrar a mi hermano.
Momo, soy allí para ti, si quieres hablar.
Don't worry, krn, I'm ok. Your brother ?
My brother was married during the last 10 years with a jealous and exclusive wife who isolates me from him. He was prisoner of his wife.
They divorced recently, what allows me again to see my brother.
It is my small brother, he was born a year after you.
Ho, interesting. How many brother have you got ?
I have only one brother, and a sister who is 3 years less than me.
I love my brother and my sister. We get along well, but we are taken away some of the others.
I don't understood the last sentence, but don't mind, I like see that you love your brothers, I would like so much can say the same thing about my own brothers, and vice versa.
How many brothers have you, Momo ?
I meant, my brother and my sister were far from my home.
I must absolutely sleep, Momo.
Last night was too short.
Tenderly yours.
Tenderly yours.
