Yahoo ?

Until there, I thought that the word "yahoo" was solely the famous Web search engine.
Now I wonder what mean "Google".
Yahoo = rustre, brute

The most appropriate translation into French, I think, would be «tête brûlée».

Marilyn, your true name is Andrea ?

Tête brulée ? I didn't find this definition in my dictionnary.

«Tête brûlée» can be said of someone who thinks he's right about anything and will act upon his whim... often using violence or at least doing things that can endanger his life or that of other, without care for the consequences. S/he does not care for authority or rules (about safety, for example) because s/he is always right... that is until s/he gets hurt in a major way. But then (if s/he survives) the injury is not his/her fault... something got in the way of his/her magnificent plan.

That is a definition of a yahoo too...

Thanks Doreus, but I didn't talk about the dictionary of definitions, but about the bilingual dictionary. In my bilingual dictionary there are only this translation : "brute" and "rustre"

And what mean "Google" ?

I learned that "goggle" mean "lunettes de protection", but "google" it's another thing.

Oh! I see. I was not sure there was a definition either; I just made up that description to help you get a broader idea of the concept.

Ok, Doreus, thus I'll put this concept with the others definitions.
