Momo said...

Etc... (ça devient obsessif, je sais)

krn said...

Franchement, celui là est superbe.

Momo said...

Yes, krn, a few obsolet, above all by compared with electronic's games of today, etc...

krn said...

Ok, let's go on in english.
I rather thought of the same kind of game : Monopoly or trivial poursuit.

Momo said...

Of course, my dear, you are absolutly right.

The last is this one that I saw this summer in the archeologic museum of Eraklion, in Crete.

Here is the link where I found the picture (I think that could interest you):

http://agoras.typepad.fr/regard_eloigne/hopis/

krn said...

Momo, see that link.
It's very interesting.

Momo said...

I already saw, but the link didn't work. I will read it.

krn said...

and this one ?

Momo said...

Krn, I agree with you regarding the obsession.

Does you wanted show me only the first paragraph, or also the goose's straw ?

Momo said...

It's absolutly the same, krn.

krn said...

I wanted to show you the origin of the game. But if you want to look at the rest, or to make the artificial goose , nothing can prevent you from it.

krn said...

I tried the link, I arrived on the good page.

Momo said...

Yes, I could make the goose of straw, I could put it before my door for do scare my concierge :-)

Momo said...

I'm very glad, krn, that you have did progress in English with this blog.

krn said...

I owe it to you, Momo.
I looked for my old books to revise, to avoid misleading you.

In the same time, I strengthen my practice. Thank you my dear friend.

Momo said...

Thank you, too, krn. You are an angel.

krn said...

I am afraid of having understood the sentence in Chinese language.

Do you really think the words you wrote?

Momo said...

(du chinois au français)

您好亲爱的Corrine = Bonjour chère Corrine

Du français au chinois)

Corrine

Ou est le problème ?

krn said...

Momo said...

krn said...

I suppose that I should improve the translation.
But I think that it is useless if the software has the choice between 4 possible translations of a phoneme, the mom can always be a horse or a thread

krn said...

Don't worry, Momo, I liked well the moment when I understood Chinese characters, even if that lasted only some minutes and I smiled. I am going to go to sleep. I have no my Buddha, but I would clamp the incense in the hinge of the door, so, I shall fall asleep by watching at it burning.

krn said...

I have not. The T is lost somewhere beetwenn the keyboard and the thread.

Momo said...

Good night, krn, and enjoy the burning incense in the hinge of the door.

I had lost the conversation thread... and just noticed that because there were over 200 comments, one now has to scroll to another page.

Just want to mention, as I saw it mentioned earlier, that Trivial Pursuit was invented in Canada, in case you did not know that. I actually have the original French version; but no one with whom to play. :( People don't play board games anymore...

krn said...

I like very much playing the Scrabble but I really have difficulty in finding opponents.

Everybody watches TV. But I do not like living by proxy, all these films of fiction, most, neither played well, nor beautiful, do not interest me.

I like to play, and to laugh.

Anonymous said...

I think that indeed, KRN, we are from the same planet. I love Scrabble... my only "regular" adversary is Boris... but it's difficult to play when he's in Montreal and I in Alberta.

krn said...

Wonderful ! How could we play together ? (I am even farther than Boris)

Momo said...

There aren't virtual scrabble on the web ?

krn said...

Do you like playing scrabble too, Momo ?

krn said...

But... I refuse to subscribe to Facebook!

We can look... It could be interesting.

krn said...

I do not want either.

I nevertheless received many e-mails which invited me, but I was not convinced and I find that it is a good source for intelligence service.

Anonymous said...

Well, I just find Facebook silly. I did subscribe to it about 2 years ago (back when it was only a university thing) and thought it was a huge waste of my time. And I don't really want my students seeing my personal life.

It can certainly be a good source of unwanted information for potential employers or agents of the State.

krn said...

Our ex-neighbours, left settling down in Ottawa, the boys of which were friends with my children are on facebook.
My son and all his friends are also registered on it.

krn said...

I am going to go to the bed immediately, I sleep up.
Doréus and Momo, I greet you. I'll see you to morrow.
Bec

Momo said...

It's weird, your posts didn't arrive in my email box. And you started to talk about Facebook, interesting.

Momo said...

Good night, Krn :-)

krn said...

I also found, that scrabble.

We can continue the discussion about facebook with you, Momo. I would like to have your opinion.

krn said...

Joyeux Noël Momo.

Momo said...

Ho, what a beautiful picture, thank you, krn, thanks to you I start this day with the true love.
